This is a double-adventure story for young readers. It is enacted by a group of children who call themselves the Cactus Crew and whose mission is to care for the Earth. They are involved in the rescue of a little dog who has been severely abused and, later, in the saving of the last elephants who live in the wild Elephant Valley not far from their home. Largely based on a true incident, this is an exciting and inspiring story which will encourage young readers towards being kind, responsible and courageous in caring for creation.
